I think I’ve just about recovered from Orlando! I’ve managed to edit together our first week on holiday (in which we visit both Disney and Universal parks) and shockingly that was probably less time-consuming than bringing all the photos together from all our different devices. But anywho, enough of the technical stuff…the holiday was amazing. Rose took to the Orlando heat and theme park life like a duck to water. She may have cried during the first meet and greet with Mickey Mouse but she soon settled into things and got more and more excited at the prospect of meeting the Disney characters as the days went by.
As for Phill and I, this was our fourth visit to Orlando and it was (as expected) so lovely to see things from Rose’s perspective. The way we went round the Disney and Universal parks was of course different (we took it slower and rode less of the big rides) but we loved discovering new things and meeting all the characters – something we never actually done before. Some may think taking a two year old to Disney World is too young but for us she was a great age to experience it. She loves Disney movies and so knew most of the characters, she also enjoyed the rides and adjusted to the five hour time difference like a pro!
I do hope you’ll watch week one of our Orlando holiday in the video and check out some of the pics from our trip.
