So who else is suffering with a Christmas cold? I’m sneezing and sniffling and sipping Lemsip like my life depends on it. I haven’t even been able to hit the sales because I feel so rotten 🙁
But anyway, I thought I’d share with you some photos from Christmas as well as a little festive vlog from Christmas Day and Boxing Day. I was so excited for Roses’s second Christmas. Whilst she has no clue about Santa Claus we have begun brain washing her and had all her presents laid out on the sofa for her on Christmas morning. I was awake from 5.30am (like the big child that I am) and for the first time ever was willing Rose to wake early so we could all go downstairs. But alas, I had to wait until 7.30am – and I’m pretty sure it would have been even later if I didn’t stomp from my bedroom to the bathroom 😉
I honestly don’t think Rose knew what to make of all the fuss lol. I am so glad I didn’t go too berserk buying her a ton of presents as I think she was already overwhelmed with what we got her. Thankfully, Phill and I had decided to open our own presents on Christmas Eve, so it meant we could just focus on Rose and clear away all the Christmas wrapping debris!
After all the presents were opened, we got ourselves ready to visit family. First we visited Phill’s parents and his brothers and their families and then we headed to my parents house for Christmas dinner. Of course, we all stuffed ourselves with turkey and ham and dessert (and lots of Quality Street). I was ready for my bed come 8.30pm! The next day we met up with Phill’s side of the family and went for Boxing Day dinner, which was really nice. Since then, I’ve been holed up at home feeling rough but hopefully I’ll be over the cold soon and ready to venture outside for some sale shopping 🙂
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, whatever you got up too 🙂
