I turn 32 next month and so I thought I’d put together a birthday wishlist. I’ve been trying not to spend too much on myself lately as we have house renovations going on plus we’ve booked a family holiday to Majorca for September. I don’t know about you but as soon as I tell myself to spend less, I want to spend more! Suddenly I see stuff that I want EVERYWHERE. I’d love to say my self-control is very good but really it’s not all – especially when it comes to shoes and bags…and lipsticks.
Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in ‘Miranda May’. I treated myself to the Charlotte Tilbury matte lipstick in ‘Super Cindy’ a few months ago and I’ve been using it non-stop. Alot of CT’s lipsticks are named after celebs and I couldn’t resist channelling my inner Cindy Crawford. For my birthday I’d like the ‘Miranda May’ – named after the Australian model Miranda Kerr. It’s a beautiful coral pink colour – ideal for summer.
Warehouse chambray button through dress. I have yet to invest in the cold-shoulder trend this season but when I saw this dress I thought it would be a great on-trend piece that had a timeless appeal to it also. My style crush at the minute is the stunning Holly Willoughby and I’m pretty sure she wore something similar to this dress on her show ‘This Morning’.
The Puffin In Bloom Collection. I’ve been a long-time collector of children’s literature and this book set is beautiful. Every woman should read Anne of Green Gables, Heidi, Little Women and A Little Princess (although I haven’t read that last one!). I follow lots of bookstagram people on Instagram and have seen this collection alot recently. The covers are illustrated by Anna Bond.
Clean Reserve in ‘Citron Fig’. I got Phill the Clean Reserve in ‘Smoked Vetiver’ for Fathers day on behalf of Rose and it smells divine – it’s all smokey sweetness and masculine. I haven’t smelt the ‘Citron Fig’ but it sounds right up my street. Clean Reserve are a new and eco-conscious fragrance brand with a small line of fragrances for men and women.
Clarks Tri Nova sports sandal. I have perpetually cold feet and I hate my toes so it baffles me as to why I am continually attracted to sandals and own far too many for my own good. But we can’t help what we are drawn to, can we? I just love a good sandal and my go-place is always Clarks as they make the most stylish and comfortable sandals. I love these sports style ones in the colour ‘champagne’.
