Teal is a colour I’ve been obsessed with for quite some time. It’s a colour that currently features heavily in my home. When I seen these Superdry glasses in Specsavers I knew I had to have them…and thankfully they suited me. They are by Superdry, which isn’t a brand I have ever bought anything from. But when it comes to glasses, you shouldn’t be swayed by a brand name, it should be about the size, shape and colour of the glasses. Do they fit you well and does the colour compliment your skin tone and hair colour?
When it comes to picking a new pair of glasses I like to openly peruse and try on specs on my own and then when I have narrowed my choice down to three or four pairs, I’ll ask a Specsavers rep to help me decide. They are great for helping me make up my mind and really know their stuff when it comes to knowing what glasses suit a person. I’ve said it before, but when it comes to selecting glasses, I firmly believe you should go into a glasses shop and have a try on session. It’s one purchase I won’t make online!
My top tip for glasses shopping is to go with an open mind. Often the pair of glasses that suit you best aren’t what you think they’ll be. I’d recommend trying on all sizes and colours and step outside your comfort zone. If time is of the essence, just ask a Specsavers rep to select a few pairs for you. You might be surprised at the pair of glasses you walk away with. I never thought I’d end up with Superdry glasses but I adore them! They are a lovely early Christmas present to myself.
Disclosure: Specsavers gave me a glasses voucher to spend in my local Belfast store.
