It may not be particularly warm yet here in the UK, but the days are brighter and the sun is coming out more and more. I love having a lazy Sunday at home but now that the weather is improving it’s nice to get out and about a bit more. I had wanted to check out my local frozen yoghurt cafe ‘YoggieBerrie’ for some time and last Sunday I finally visited.
I wore a summery outfit of turned up jeans and a western denim shirt (both from GAP) and my new Ilex London mint across body bag and Naturalizer coral shoes from Lotus Shoes. I’m heading on holiday to Gran Canaria at the end of the month and I’ll definitely be packing both the bag and the shoes as they’ll be perfect holiday attire.
The Ilex London bag is a nice weekend size, with enough room for a small purse, phone and other little essentials like lipgloss, car keys and mints. It’s real leather and the strap is adjustable which I like. If you’re looking for a quality across-body bag I’d recommend the Ilex London selection.
As for the shoes, they are so comfy! These are my first pair of Naturalizer shoes and so far I’m impressed. The punch detailing at the front and the light-weight soles make them a really ‘on-trend’ pair of shoes for the summer. Great also if you’re like me and dread getting your toes out but want to keep your feet cool during the warmer months!
And I’m happy to report the froyo was really fruity and refreshing. Of course I went to town on the toppings! YoggieBerrie (Belfast based only) also serves coffee, traybakes, waffles and ice-cream so it’s a great wee place to go throughout the year…not just the summer months.
Thank you to Ilex London and Lotus Shoes for sending me out these pieces to feature in a blog post.
