My search has begun for maternity wear. Now that I’m edging towards the twenty week mark, my tummy is forming into a proper bump and my boobs seem to go up a cup size each month (I’m out a fortune in bras). I don’t want to stretch out too many of my existing clothes and I want to be comfortable as I expand. Plus I’m going on holiday at the end of April to Gran Canaria and I think I’ll need to invest in some maternity summer gear for that – at least a tankini/swimsuit that fits the bust and bump, and maybe a pair of maternity shorts. Some of my maxi dresses will still be fine to wear thankfully!
It looks like I’m going to have to shop online for most of my maternity wear needs, which is a little annoying for me. I like to physically go into shops and try on items. But most highstreet stores don’t stock a good selection of maternity clothes from what I’ve noticed so far. I’ve started my maternity wishlist above but let me know if there are any brands/stores you recommend me trying out and if there are any items of clothing you think are a ‘must-buy’ for pregnancy. I want to invest in some quality staple items like maternity jeans, long vest tops and dresses that can be dressed up or down and will see me through the summer.
Also I’ve begun to put together a Pregnancy Style board on Pinterest if you want to check it out. And please follow me on Pinterest if you don’t already!

I’m edging towards 11 weeks and have already cleared out my wardrobe twice and am moving into maternity stuff already!! H&M do some lovely bits as well but I got most of my first pregnancy bits from Asos and Motherboard.
ASOS definitely has a good selection – some nice dresses especially. Must check out Motherboard now! I hope your pregnancy is going well. Thanks for commenting 🙂
I found second hand through eBay was great considering you only get a few months out of most items. I got a number of really nice Isabella Oliver dresses this way & saved a fortune! Hope you’re keeping well missus!! Xo
Just checking out the Isabella Oliver range online Evelyn and it’s all lovely! Must see if there are any ebay bargains to be had now. Thanks! xox
