Are you suffering from the January Blues? Last week was my first full week back at work since Christmas and I must admit it exhausted me. Plus I seemed to be hungry all the time! It’s amazing how quickly you become accostumed to lazing around the house and eating ALL THE TIME during the festive period. January always seems like a long month but like many of you I feel like it’s important to have something to look forward to. Thankfully Phill’s birthday is in January which is always an excuse for a little trip! We’re heading to Glasgow at the end of the month to see two of our favourite bands perform. I can’t wait.
In other news, I received this beautiful blue Ilex London bag just before Christmas and it’s barely been off my shoulder. It sizeable without being bulky, and I think it looks really chic. It’s real leather with nice silver zip details. I love it’s smooth texture and the rich royal blue colour.
The colour combo of blue, navy and black is often my go-to in the winter months. Here I’m wearing my mixed toned coat from Next, my black Dr Martens high heeled brogues, my new black Karen Millen glasses from Specsavers and my fab Storyhorse umbrella. I injected a bit of soft pink to the outfit with the addition of my H&M scarf (which my friend bought me at Christmas), and pink lipstick by Estée Lauder (another Christmas present, this time from my Mum).
