One thing I’m passionate about is beautiful jewellery – whether that’s an affordable statement necklace or an expensive gold ring. These days I’m all about fine jewellery that’s well made and means something personal to me. I love discovering new jewellery designers and one place that’s perfect for doing this is Jewel Street. They sell a huge amount of jewellery from a large number of talented independent makers and well known brand names.
When Jewel Street contacted me to select a piece of jewellery to use and review I was obviously delighted. I made up my mind quite early on to get a ring because since I’ve lost weight over the past year none of my old beloved rings fit. Whilst I’m not happy about that, it does mean I have a great excuse to buy more jewellery!
Deciding that I wanted a ring was one thing, but deciding what ring was another. I ended up falling in love with all different types of rings but in the end I choose the India Ring by Rosie May, a young British designer who is becoming known for her “mechanical elegance”.
The India Ring is from Rosie May’s Talis Collection and I choose mine in sterling silver, but you can also get it in oxidised silver, gold, rose gold and black rhodium. I love that it is a delicate piece, is edgy in design, and looks good on its own or stacked with other slim rings. I have a tendancy to wear my rings on my index finger and this ring feels right at home here. It’s a beautiful piece and I can see me becoming a bit of a collector of Rosie May jewellery.
What do you think of my choice?
