After my introduction to Liz Earle a few weeks back I was delighted when I was sent some extra goodies in the post by the Liz Earle team. I had cooed over the coral nail polishes and lipsticks at the Liz Earle Belfast event and they must have listened! I received two beautiful coral lipstick shades and two nail polishes. I also got to try out the Liz Earle Radiant Glow Bronzer.
Last summer I went for bold orange lips and nails but this year I wanted to embrace a softer alternative to orange. The two Liz Earle lipsticks I received were ‘Melon’ which is a sheer peach and ‘Azalea’ which is a soft coral colour. Both have a beautiful sheen to them and glide onto the lip effortlessly. Once on the lips, it feels like your wearing a lipgloss but thankfully without the yucky sticky texture. I love both colours and in the photos below I have mixed both colours on my lips.
The nail colours are ‘Awakening’, a coral pink shade, and ‘Bright and Breezy, a pure coral shade. I am wearing ‘Awakening’ in the photos below and I love it. Two coats was all I needed. I’ll be packing both these nail colours in my suitcase for my summer holidays.
Lastly, let’s talk about the bronzer. This gives a beautiful honey-kissed shimmer on your face which I love. It’s not over-the-top shimmery and its definitely not orangey on the face. I can see me wearing this in the winter months too.
It’s safe to say I’m now a firm fan of Liz Earle. Whilst the makeup packaging is not particular eye catching, it is mature looking and it feels good quality. Liz Earle only ventured into makeup a few years ago and I really hope their collection continues to expand.
