Probably one of my favourite breakfasts to have on the weekend – bacon croissants. Monday to Friday I usually have cereal so it’s always nice to have a cooked breakfast at the weekend.
I picked up two of these vases from Ikea recently. There are exactly what I’ve been looking for for the window ledges in the living room and dining room. And so cheap to buy!
Making notes in my new Gucci Guilty notebook. I got given this at a recent House of Fraser beauty event.
In between all the rain we had over the weekend Phill and I (more Phill tbh!) planted two Japanese Spindle trees to go on our front steps. I love them. This is only the second year we’ve planted anything. We were adamant we didn’t want any flowers but we did want some greenery and so choose trees and plants that last all-year round and are very low maintenance to look after.
Dreaming of wearing this floaty chiffon summer dress from H&M. I bought this ochre coloured Fossil belt to give me a bit of shape when I do wear it. Here’s hoping the weather warms up soon!
My first time making roast sweet potatoes with piri piri prawns. It was delicious. The kick off the chillis and curried sauce was the perfect accompaniment to the sweet potatoes.
I got some new beauty items so I locked myself in the bathroom and had a mini pamper session. Bubble bath, face mask, luxurious body lotion and then some hand and nail pampering.
I’ve been trying to read more books lately. This small stack has been on my bedside since Christmas. Oh the shame! The bottom book is the latest from Shirley Hughes. Phill bought me it for Christmas as I collect all her books (she’s a children’s writer and illustrator). I’m almost finished the Billy Crystal’s bio. I realise that many of you might be wondering what the heck I’m reading this book for but When Harry Met Sally is one of my all-time fave films and I just loved Billy in it. I wanted to find out more about his life and career. And lastly, I’m trying to get into this Jojo Moyes book after loving ‘Me Before You’. This hasn’t pulled me in just yet though…
