Isn’t autumn one of the most beautiful times of the year? The sun shines so brightly and I love seeing all the different coloured leaves lying on the ground. I am thankful that I live in a country which has distinct seasons. Whilst of course the rain and dull, cold weather can get me down sometimes, I don’t know if I would want to live in a place that was summer all year round. But ask me again in a month’s time and I may answer differently!
I was sick much of last week (swollen glands and a nasty cold) and I had been watching Pride and Prejudice and When Harry Met Sally to make myself feel better. These shows are two of my all-time favourites and this time more than ever I noticed the different season changes throughout each story. In both cases the two main characters take a long time to realise they are in love with eachother, and the passing of time is very much shown through weather and costume changes.
Now that I’m feeling better and have my energy back, I was so happy to remove my dressing gown, get properly dressed and venture into the fresh air. I’ve been wanting to take photos in the lovely autumn sunshine for weeks now and I finally got to. Thanks to my lovely other half Phill who took all these photos for me.
