I’ve been a fan of Alex and Ani jewellery since I spotted some of their bangles on an Argento catalogue shoot. Then when I was in The States recently (where all Alex and Ani jewellery is made) I purchased my first bangle.
If you like your arm candy then you will probably fall in love with the vast range of Alex and Ani bracelets and bangles. They look good on their own but they look even better stacked together. So far I’ve got two of the gold-plated bangles but I’m hoping to continually add to my collection. I love that you can adjust the bangles to perfectly fit you. I have slim wrists and most bangles slip off my wrist so I am happy to have found a jewellery brand that realises how important size customisation is.
When I heard about the launch of the new Alex and Ani collection in Argento Belfast I jumped at the chance of going. DJ Michelle Doherty provided the music for the launch and there was drinks and nibbles for us to enjoy whilst we perused the new collections.
The new range for autumn has a beautiful selection of jewel-toned shimmering beads alongside more edgy pieces with rhinestones, spikes and geometric shapes. Like all Alex and Ani jewellery, the new range is ethically made and has a positive energy message at its core.
Alex and Ani creator and designer Carolyn Rafaelian believes “every individual has a positive message to share with the world”. I love a brand with an interesting back story and Alex and Ani does not disappoint on this front.
For many of us, when choosing to buy jewellery for ourselves or for a loved one, it can’t just be about whether it looks good. You want jewellery to tell a story and represent something. If you’re looking for jewellery to convey a special message, then check out Alex and Ani. The jewellery brand offers much more than bangles and bracelets and it caters for both men and women. I’ve already got my eye on a number of pieces for Christmas presents and of course for myself! I’m really taken by the Vintage 66 range.
