The Clothes Show Live is an event I’ve grown up hearing about. Before fashion became as huge a deal as it is now The Clothes Show was thee event to be seen at if you were an emerging fashion designer, wannabe model or fashion lover. The Clothes Show Live is still very much a firm fixture on the UK fashion calendar and I was lucky enough to attend the event this year on behalf of my company Taggled. We were launching our exciting new partnership with the huge fashion search engine ShopStyle. I was there giving bloggers an exclusive look at the new shoppable video offering on the ShopSense ShopStyle platform. All very exciting! In between work I made sure to get out and about and take in all that The Clothes Show Live is about.
Not only are there amazing catwalk shows, Q&A’s and meet & greets with fashion designers, vloggers and celebs but there are hundreds of fashion and beauty exhibitors – from huge names like Rimmel and Oasis to smaller, emerging brands and vintage sellers. There was lots of tempting offers, opportunities to enjoy some pampering; and for ambitious fashion lovers, the chance to find out about internships and getting their first rung on the career ladder.
In amongst the many reality TV stars (Peter Andre, Jamie Laing, Amy Childs – you get the idea) and big name vloggers, there was also fashion commentator Hilary Alexander, fashion designer Zandra Rhodes and fashion expert and The Clothes Show veteran Caryn Franklin in attendance. I may have made Caryn mango and strawberry tea and compliment Zandra on her amazing jewels! Yep, I was a total suck-up lol.
I thought these Spectrum make-up brushes looked so fun!
Loved the Shoe Embassy collections.
