For many of us our handbags, and what we carry about in them, are a representation of our personality. The handbag itself can tell you a lot about a person. For example, I’d like to think this coral handbag (the latest edition to my vast collection of bags) tells you I am a happy, fun-loving person who’s not afraid of colour. I tend to go for big handbags, so it’s clear I like stuff and I like the security of packing a range of items to get me through the day.
But what exactly is the ‘stuff’ I tote around each and every day? Money Supermarket has challenged us bloggers to look at the real value of the contents of our handbags. How much are we actually carrying around with us on a daily basis? I must say I’ve never really thought about the monetary value of my handbag and it’s contents, until now . . .
1. Work phone and personal phone (both iPhones) – combined price of around £800
2. Zara purse and keys – combined price of around £250
Wow who knew I was carrying around over £1K worth of stuff in my handbag! In future I will definitely pay more attention to what I pack and ask myself – ‘do I really need to bring it with me’? I might save myself some back ache too!
Is your handbag packed to the brim, or are you very selective about what you carry around with you?
